I hadnt visited the crackberry.com forums for a while, so thought id check for a new OS update as ive never managed to get opera working and its something id really like. I thought an OS upgrade might solve my problem. However, my BB 8320 seems to have v4.5.0.52, whereas according to the sticky the latest software is the AT&T v4.5.0.110? How can this be? Should I downgrade my software?
Im using a BB that was on Orange, but its been unlocked and is now on Vodafone. Anyone got any advice for me?
GPRS information and UK settings
to get opera to work you need to change your apn setting under options/advanced options/tcp settings look for the vodafone apn setting on here. and .52 is not a newer software than .110
Hi,
Thanks for the info RE opera, will give it a go.
The reason I thought .52 was newer is because when I connect my BB to desktop manager and click application loader>update software, .52 is above .110, and when expanded .110 displays as .152?
When I check the box and click update, it says there are no updates required at this time. Am I doing something wrong here? I followed the instructions in the sticky exactly (deleted vendor.xml, downloaded from the linked location etc etc).
