And this happens quite often actually.
Basically, for example, my bro just called me but my phone didnt ring. I just got a "missed call" on my phone, without it ever ringing.
Then he got on aim and told me that i wasnt picking up.
Anyways, actually, my phone knows that my bro called, because i get the missed call from him. but it never rang or anything.
Whats wrong?
(my curve also sometimes reboots randomly. what the heck?!)

You have probably tried a battery pull. You might want to do a back-up and then wipe your handheld. The OS stays on it so dont worry about that...just restore the back-up file once you are done wiping.

what do you mean? if that means i have manually reset my phone by pulling the battery once, then yes i have done that before.
and how do you "wipe" your handheld?

Yes that's the famed battery pull.
To wipe your handheld go to:
Options>Security options>General Settings>press your menu key>wipe handheld
