I am new to the BB, and have found a converter to put music and video clips on my phone, but still have not found a movie converter that seems to work...Does anyone out there no of a good dvd converter that will work for the BB?

looks like I answered my own question...found Media Studio for Blackberry which is extremely simple to use and seems to work so far. Go to handango.com
just look to the right and click on the multimedia link
