Hi. All I want to do is delete the extra languages in my phone and I don't have the actual option on the phone so I know I need to do it through the Applications loader. My question is... I have Desktop Manager downloaded. What else do I need? I think I need the OS Installation package or something like that. Where can I get the right one for my curve 8300? And also, once I download this and plug in my phone, will all my extra stuff like my ringtones be erased? THanks a lot.
I have read that post many times but it doesn't say where I can download the OS. Can anybody give me a link and tell me exactly which one I need to download for a Curve 8300? I just know that I need my application number. Thanks so much.
Package Version: 4.2.2.186
Consisting of:
Applications: 4.2.2.89
Software Platform: 2.4.0.39
File name: 8300EFIGS_Dutch_PBr4.2.2_rel186_PL2.4.0.39_A4.2.2. 89_AT&T.exe
File size: 71.98MB
Note: Once installed, v .2.2.89 (Platform 2.4.0.39) will be displayed under Settings > Options > About on the handheld.
Because this is the only AT&T multilanguage one that has 4.2.2.89 in it. So after I download this onto my computer, I will be able to delete the unnecessary languages in my phone so I can have more memory? Sorry for all the questions =( I'm just really scared of messing up my curve!
The desktop Manager is the one with Service p2 if that is waht you are referring to. I would stick with that for now there are some bugs with DM 4.3 unless you don't mind messing with it til you get it to work.
