Hey all, i just got the 8330 from sprint, and i want update the micro sd card. i was looking at the sandisk 16 GB Micro SDHC. Does anyone know if that is compatible with the 8330....Thanks

16GB micro SDHC is compatible if you have 4.5.131 OS. That is max card for 4.5 currently.

Yes, Berger King is right on.
I have .131 on my 8330 and I am using a 16GB card (SDHC) with no problems.
If you do a search here, there is a chart that lists the OS version and the max size card you can use.

Yes it is, if they ever get 5.0 perfected, you may be able to move up to 32GB, which you'd need 2 iPhones to equal. You're good to go cboham.

I'm new to the BB scene (one week now) and I have a 4gb SanDisk micro sdhc in mine even though the Sprint dude I bought it from urged that I stay away from them. I haven't had any problems with it at all. I got it for $20 at walmart but you can definitely get them cheaper on ebay.

New BB user. First day. So I just got an 8310 from my employer and went ahead and blindly ordered a Sandisc Micro sdhc 16gb card from buy.com for $51.26 shipped.

After reading this forum I am now concerned if it will work properly. I have OS 4.5.0.110 and platform 2.7.0.90. My carrier is AT&T. Do I need to upgrade OS? Is there a way to get to 4.5.0.81?

Are the OS updates tied to a specific BB device or model? According to the sticky, the latest OS for the 8310 is 4.5.0.124. Does that mean I am screwed?

You should be good to go, .110 is higher than .81.

I'm having problems with my 8330 and my 8gb sdhc, I can't set my pics or vids to save to the media card, only to the device memory. Any help with this?
