had a buddy send me a link to get the BB Messenger for my phone, but it was for 4.0 or 4.1 only. Is there a place I can get it for my OS? I am running 4.5.0.127?

I think you can get it from Desktop Manager, but not 100% sure.

How is it that you have a blackberry but not blackberry messenger? I assumed it came pre-installed?

I would have thought the same thing. Not sure if when I did the upgrade to 4.5 I got from Alltel didn't include it or what, but it isn't on my phone currently.

log into your carriers bis site and you'll see a tab on the left saying service books. click that and you will see the option to resend service books. If not try connecting to the dm and then open up the app loader and it should be there, if not go to Smartphones, Cell Phones & Smart Phones at BlackBerry.com and I think they still have a link to download it again
