I've had an 8320 for a few months now, and I love the phone. Tonight I was in the midst of texting a friend to congratulate him on the White Sox making the playoffs, and everything froze. I did a battery pull, and when everything booted back up I tried to go into Messaging, and it froze again and i waited it out and got an application error. I tried another battery pull, and same thing, and didn't do anything for a few minutes, and then it went to a screen that read:
App error 523
Reset
It reset, and same thing.
Anyone have any idea what happened, and how I can fix this?
Sorry if this is covered elsewhere, I tried using the search function, but I may have missed it.
Thank you. I was more worried about the "rim_bb_messaging" error and didn't even think to search for information on the 523 error reset.
At about the time I received your reply, I received a few text messages, and everything appears to be working as normal, but I will definitely bookmark this information in case I do end up needing it.
