I have the message icon at the top of my screen near the clock and it says, there is 1 message. but I cant find it no where. I dig get locked up for a minute downloading a large e-mail, and got a error message. But that went away. I have the Curve 8330, is there a soft reset like Ctrl alt del

It is ATL + RIGHT SHIFT + DEL
&If you do it twice it is a hard reset.
But I think in order to get rid of the icon you need to do a battery pull.

The soft reset is Alt+Shift(the one on the RIGHT of your keypad)+Delete, in that order!

This actually happened to me yesterday and when it reset (I actually used Quickpull, but I'm sure it'll work the same as the soft reset) the message magically appeared! Too bad it was a text from like 5 hours earlier...

Same exact thing happened to me in another thread. How funny.

I did the soft reset as recommended above and it worked. No more message icon.
