How do I get rid of the red lock next to the enabled status so I can turn memory cleaning off ?

The little red lock means that you have an IT Policy in place on your BlackBerry. Unless you remove your BB from the BES server, you can't remove that lock. If you have a need to turn memory cleaning off, contact your IT department so they can change the IT Policy.

Got it figured out. I disabled content protection and was able to then disable memory cleaning.
