What is the maximum size MicroSD that the Curve 8310 will work with? I want to purchase an 8Gig card but wonder if that size will function properly in the 8310.

4G is the largest at this time. Supposedly, what I've heard is that the new OS once it is release will allow an 8G card.
4.3 is 8gb, 4.5 is supposedly unlimited.
4.5 is unlimited?? That will be perfect for the 12GB coming out.
I will contact Blackberry since no one sounds 100% sure.
Thanks for th input.
They already told you above that your BB would not handle an 8GB correctly as of current OS.
My local carrier is releasing the 8330 this week and in the specs on their website they have 12GB listed as supported. Could this be an error?

Hmm. I know that verizon 8330 supports 8gb, but that might change with O/S 4.5 but I doubt it.
I'm not able to post a link, but if you go to the Blackberry.com Technical Solution Center and do a search for document number KB05461 you will find the pertinent info regarding what OS will handle which MicroSD card.

I have been using an 8GB in my 8310 since I purchased it, and I never had any issues

Take a look at Pete's exhaustive research on the subject of microSD and microSD-HC cards before you buy anything: http://forums.crackberry.com/f2/micr...c-cards-46673/
Thanks Cammer.
