    between blackberry desktop manager and my phone there are a few things in desktop manager it shows i have 60 mb free on my phone as well as in status on the phone but in blackberry app world in my phone it shows only 5 mb as well as in memory in the phone options why are they different?

    im running 5.0 on it right now and according to blackberry desktop i have it open right now i have 78.6 free

    App World is woefully inaccurate, DM somewhat, though you might be mixing KB and MB. I'd trust the numbers on the device.

    so i should trust memory that gives me a 14.4kb or status that gives me a 14071908 bytes which is ruffly 13 mb

    Not sure why you're getting the slight deviation, but that is a leaked OS, so all it's code may not be accurately written. Here's a nice converter, if you want to see how close it all is:

    Use the device settings to trust your memory.. 13 mbs is a little low for me withan 8330... you might want to look at increasing memory in bb 101's, or shrink the os more if it was me. When I was on 5.0I had a few apps but had like 30mbs free...
