Hi kids, new here but wanted to ask what's probably a stupid question. I searched for it and couldn't come up with anything, so I thought I'd pick your brains here.

I have an 8330, and when I'm playing music on the media player and get a notification (of any type, bbm, sms, facebook, whatever), the media player resets the song and starts it over again from the beginning. I'm guessing it's just some setting that I've missed because this problem has followed me through two 8330s and a few OS updates.

Any ideas?

no one? at all? maybe this is a tougher one than i thought.

Since no one answered. Maybe try this: With the phone ON pullout the battery for 20 seconds then put it back in. Allow it to automatically restart. This clears up a lot of glitches with the phone. You might have to do it twice. Good Luck.
