Okay so I've had my BB Curve for about 6 months. I recently got a media card for it. I loaded all kinds of songs on it and I know FOR SURE those songs are on my media card. However, the BB media player won't play them. They don't even show up. But when I use the 'explore' option I can see the files on my card and play them. I just can't play them in the media player. Can anyone help me figure this out? Thanks in advance!

When you go to Explore... what folder are the music files located in??

They need to be in the correct directory for media player to play them...

Did you format the card when you first installed it?

I have exactly the same problem. I transferred some music (mp3's) from my laptop my blackberry and put it under "MUSIC" folder and in my blackberry it doesn't show up on the My media.

Also now it has Scanning written down on the bottom of the screen....=(

I'm just wondering I have no idea what the issue is but have you tried to perform a search on the file name in the media player?

I would def look into formatting that card....otherwise you may want to review the process you used to install the tunes on the card....
