I'm brand spanking new, sorry if this is a stupid question: I have no idea how to save or access anything in my memory card (1GB card came in the phone). I assume I can save music & photos on it, but I have no clue how to save or access.

In your media player hit the menu key and explore. you will see what is on the card. Frm the media player you can also view your picture and video, as well as play music.

Save files using the desktop manager. Go to options>media card and make sure everything is either on or enabled. That should help.
