I have a 8300 with a Sandisk 2GB Media card. After loading card it showed
Total Space: 1.8 GB
Free Space : 1.8 GB
Which I understand as normal. I Loaded loads of music and pictures and only used .6 GB
Total Space : 1.8 GB
Free Space: 1.2 GB

I then Loaded about 20 more pixs and checked and it said
Total Space: 1.8 GB
Free Space: 1.8 GB
I tried a battery pull ( 3 times)
pulled the card and read it in a card reader and found that it had 838 MB on it.
so card should read about 1.0 free.
Any ideas on what's up. Still reads as if there's nothing on it yet i have no problem getting to my pixs or music. The phone memory hasn't changed through this all. and stills reads about 18 MB free.
Is there a problem or did I load pictures that made my card grow in memory size???? If so I'll load alot more and no need for that 4GB card.

problem hasn't changed..........but my curve works fine still..no one has any clue? I have loaded more songs and still shows 1.8 free

I have the same problem with a 6GB card. My Curve 8300 is showing only 1.66GB avaialble for music and then 4.xx shows as being used yet I do not have anything else on it.. any clues?.. Please somebody!!!
