Someone told me that the maximum media card that you could use for a curve 8310 is 2gb. Is this true, because I put a 2gb media card in my bb, but i would like to have more memory if it is possible?

The later versions of OS 4.5 support up to 16 GB cards supposedly, but there have been more than a few posts about problems with 16 GB cards.

8 GB would be pretty safe to use though.

Hmm, I'm going from a 4G to a 16G....the 4G was fried because I didn't install it correctly, now I'm wondering if I should go ahead and get an 8G for now and hold off on using the 16G. I would hate to ruin that one, I paid a pretty penny for that one.

    Thanks,

I just put the 16G micro card in my Curve and it shows memory available 14.8GB. That's probably about right, even flash drives I've used on my computer usually have less available space due to the formatting. Just thought I would let ya know

    Quick question:
Where did you find a 16GB microSD card and how much? O_O
