I'm hearing mixed answers about this one. I'm currently using a 2GB SD but I'm being told the 8310's can use the 6GB.

I really don't wanna buy a 6GB card only to find that it doesn't work...

The biggest Media card the 83xx series can handle is 4GB. if you use a bigger card it will only allow 4gb of storage. Rumor has it that the new OS v4.3 will allow larger cards but cant confirm that. Hope this helps!

I can verify what BerryWhite is saying with a 6gb sd card in my 8310 it only shows that it is 3.8gb

I do remember however that it said until 4.3 comes out that max supported was either 4 or 6 gig.

OS v4.3 is not yet available as an update.

I wish I got the 4gb after reading this. All I saw was people using up to 2gb so thats what I got because I was dting without any type of storage. Oh well, I will wait and see how fast I use this up.

i just got my curve and plan to put like 20-30 songs and pics on there...should i go with a 1gb or 2?

1GB should be more than enough for that, but the 2GB is getting cheaper by the day...
