looking to put music on my curve. says i need to install mass storage mode. any help, info on this?

You don't install MSM, you have enable it. Options > Media Card.

make sure you select prompt = yes

once turned on, just connect your berry to your pc via usb and click and drag the music you want.

I prefer to have the prompt turned off and just enable MSM when i am going to transfer files. this way it doesnt ask me when i just want to charge the phone from the computer.

I guess it is a matter of taste and if that works for you, it works for me. I like the prompt.

Once it is up...it is just a drag and drop process. But, it does take a couple of minutes for the curve to scan and read and use the music files. It is not instantaneous.
