I hook my blackberry 8310 up to PC and when i do it locates it and pulls up device memory, but when i pull up media card is says activate mass storage mode. it is activated and i dont know what else to do. please help!

When in mass storage mode, the memory card is accessed via a drive letter, not Media Manager. I say this because without Media Manager, you wouldn't be able to see the internal memory. So, either turn off Mass Storage and use Media Manager to put stuff on both the the internal memory and a memory card, or access the memory card via a drive letter on your PC.

What JRSCCIVIC98 is trying to say is

- If you have Mass Storage Mode ON, you can drag and drop files through "My Computer" onto or off of the memory card.

- If you have Mass Storage Mode OFF, you can use Media Manager to transfer files to and from both the internal memory and the memory card.

Thank you all. I just fought with my CrankyBerry for a couple of hours until I had the stroke of genius that led me here. Once I switched off of Mass Storage Mode, I was finally able to use Media Sync to put my ITunes playlists onto my memory card (well, duh!).

Crackberry first next time. Leave the frustrating re-download of Desktop Manager for last.
