Anyone know why the little mail box wont go away, it stil says i have a message with a red star--- but I have no new messages/voicemails/texts and i cleared my whole call log.

Anyone know what the deal is?

Did you go under messages view folder and look in them all ?

yeah, no changes still showing and all folders had no messages

The message header has an X with phone symbol which won't go away. Is there a cache or something where the message may still be sitting. Really irritating. Thanks for any help.

This happened to me just last night. I had hidden my messages folder icon but when I brought it back up and viewed the folder, sure enough there was a message there and when it was deleted the icon went away. Also, sometimes when I have a missed call I have to go in and delete the missed call and the icon will go away.

From your Messages screen, hit Menu, View Folder, Browser Messages - and check all those folders for any new messages.

If that doesn't work do a soft reset by holding Alt+Shift+Del and it should clear up your problem.
