Hello,
I use the Curve 8330. I have a the envelope icon showing, but I do not have any new mail message.

I have tried turning the phone off for a little while, but it is still there. I have gone through each email account, and confirmed that there are no new messages.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

Check your Saved Messages.
Do a Battery Pull with the device turned on.

also, go to the top date in your messages folder, menu button > mark prior read. you may just be missing one.

Or from your messages screen press the "u" key to go the oldest "unread" message.

Ok, I removed the battery with the phone on, and that seemed to have done the trick. I keep my messages fairly clean, so I know I didn't miss any.

A battery pull is always the first thing you should try when you have issues with your BlackBerry.

Turing the device "off" and then back "on' doesn't really do anything on a BlackBerry.
