I don't know what I did, but somehow I lost the typing shortcut to my contacts. Previously, I would hit the green phone button, press a letter, and all the contacts with a first name corresponding to that letter would show up on the screen. I would trackball to the one I wanted. If it had more than one number associated with it, I would trackball to the one I wanted, and make my call.
Then all of a sudden, it said, "No addresses" when I attempted above.
It seems like some typing shortcut got disabled. Anyone know how to fix it?
Do you have any of the categories checked? Go to your address book, press menu and choose filter. Verify that none of the categories are checked. Also try a battery pull. With your BB on, remove the battery for a few seconds, then put it back in.
