On the way back I decided to get myself a holster. Having read a number of posts about them and the majority ending with "and I got it at a Verizon store" I figured I'd go there.
So I used my GPS'd Curve along with Google Maps to find one near where I was driving (they have a good selection, magnet ones for standby and the Seido rubberized, magnetized one).
Got a leather one.
Now I'm sitting at home messing with the phone and using the satellite view it shows me sitting in the living room of my house, which is exactly where I am.
Now I'm just waiting for the black helicopters to show up
i like watching the lil dot when i drive around, it even gives an arrow pointing which way i am pointing to. Would suggest unistalling TeleNav and having just Google Maps with street view.
Mine is always 3 meters too, and also shows what side of my house I'm in. If only it would let me see inside other people's houses and buildings, that would be great!
Mine is usually within a couple blocks. Pretty good for a free, non-gps unit! I'm pretty sure it needs more than one tower to be very accurate -- and the farther you are from the towers the less accurate it is. But I'm happy with the results -- at least I'm not demanding my money back!
