can anyone tell me if its possible to have all notes, calendar items and contacts stored on the media card? how can i do/check that?

The media card is for media. Pictures, Music, Videos, Ringtones, Voicenotes, Documents.
If your device memory gets below 12 000 000, the phone will start deleting your messages stored on the device.
