I just took my Blackberry Curve to a Verizon store because of some problems I was having. They saved my contacts/ picture/ etc., but had to basically wipe everything else out. My e-mails are still showing under E-mail Settings, but the icons are no longer on my phone for "Google Mail" and "Yahoo Mail". When I receive e-mails on my phone, my LED does not blink red. I checked my phone settings under Profiles- Advanced-... but I don't know how to get my phone to blink red when I get e-mails. Any suggestions?
You might need to resend your service books. The same thing happened to me recently, and that fixed it. Even the sounds weren't working for the notification profiles until resent.
