You really should post this in the general forums, the answer may help others.

Profiles / Advanced, Press Menu and select Edit.

Select the message catigory and check the message type you are concerned about.

Check the setting for Repeat Notifications. It defaults to LED Flashing or you can select None.

Let me know it you need further help.

Yes. That would explain why you are not getting any messages or notification.

First, have you subscribed to a carrier email/data BIS plan?

Without that, there is no way to make it work.

If you are subscribed, there may be a fault in your service books.

If you have not received a registration message from the wireless network, register your device. In the device options, click Advanced Options. Click Host Routing Table. Press the Menu key. Click Register Now.

Log in by using the username and password you created when you set up your email

Then on the left hand side you should see something called service books, click that then you should see Resend Service Books, click that and you should be good to go

Recieved reg message I can recieve messages and send them, but still no Led when I get them

Mine never has. Led blinks when I miss an email or txt. but not when I've missed a phone call.

Thought Id try a restore. I thought it would go back to 4.2 but it just put everything on my phone that was on it before 4.5 but left 4.5 on it. which was great only problem i had was docs to go. unistalled and reinstalled and registered and now everything is working perfect memory holding at 27k. thanks everyone

Thought id post this to help anyone else

Ok Ive had 4.5.0.81 for 3 days now. first update from 4.2. great OS.
I first try went great,but I tried loaded surreal theme and it bricked my 8310 error 5## something so I used JL_Cmder to wipe phone and did reinstall. lost everything contacts and apps everything, but its running good, problems Ive noticed: remove media card before install (seems to help). dont use themes that are not designed for 4.5. also Google maps is working perfect. and for 3rd party themes they have all been showing. the only problem that I cant solve is docs to go not opening excel spreadsheets and yes I have activated it. Any help with this would be great!!!!

I went through all of it on install and have alot of 3rd party apps and I still have like 27k memory and this version is staying there no leak that I have seen.

oh I forgot att has blocks on MMS so you have to call or go in and make sure they remove it. Mine are working perfect now!!
