I just received a new curve from Tmo because my old one wasnt charging well. Unfortunately, I noticed that on the new one the LED doesnt turn on every time I click or roll the trackball. Is there any way I can fix that? Or should I send it back for a replacement? Please help

Are you talking about the led in the upper right corner of the phone, or the led under the track ball?

Did you try it in a dark room? If that does not work, then the light sensor in the phone is bad, and I would send it back for another on.

menu key - option - screen/keyboard


Go there to adjust the settings.


But like the previous poster said if you're in a bright room it won't light up.

The backlight for the trackball and the keyboard only comes on when you are in a dark room...if they dont come on in a dark setting and after you play with the settings then I would call and get a repalcement...that is covered by warranty...
