    Cool, thanks for this.

I just incorporated the 4.5.0.174 files into my hybrid the other day.

Now I have to get the .175 files.

    Edit:

Here is a mirror of the Sprint 4.5.0.175 for 8330m: Download

I wonder why Sprint doesn't have it on their website yet.

This is available on the regular 8330 also. When I went to blackberry's sprint downloads page it only showed to be available for the 8330m, but I recieved an email on my 8330, not m version and it said to go to blackberry.com/updates. I went to that address and clicked the updates button with phone plugged in to the computer and it showed my current software and then also 4.5.0.175 as recommended. I just finished the update and everything seems fine so far. Inside Sprint Now has some release notes if you are interested.

Inside Sprint Now (click link in my post above) states that the update was released today, but will not post on sprint.com/downloads until 10/21.

After checking the 8330m and 8330 download pages I was wondering if this update was also going to be available for the 8330 (ESN). Thanks for the info!

Im running the setup wizard now and its finding my emails..running google sync and hoping that restores my contacts..from there I guess I will look for a new theme, because the ones on the phone are godwful..then I will to redownload all my apps..etc. Why do they not warn you that they are resetting your entire phone? This is messed up.

Do a search on your PC for a file called *.ipd, make sure you search hidden and system files. Hopefully, you can find a loaderbackup(date).ipd file from today.

If you find the file, copy it to your desktop, especially if it is a hidden file in your Temp directory. You can do a restore from .ipd files.

I'm done for now..I saved my address book only because of google sync. That is the most important thing. The rest of this is just a bunch of crap by Sprint...what a freaking joke. They should have said they would clear out my entire phone and apps..ill try and restore but ill probably just start from scratch..I wonder f I still need the buzz me app for vibration..god all those little tweaks that i did I will miss!!!!!

Is there another way to get the update downloaded if your phone wont connect to your pc? when you use the data cable to hook up the phone the first 10 sec its connected it shows then the plug in icon goes away and desktop managers always says device not connected... Is my curve just screwed or is there a different way to load it?

I'm running 4.5.0.131 on my sprint 8330 and I thought that this current OS I am running has the capability to update the OS over the air. Can I do this or do I have to use a computer?

I used the loader.exe file to update. Backed up everything minus 2 apps which I specially added as alx files on 169.

Internet is FAST. Like woah. I can't get over it. Feels like its full 3G speed finally.

Everything else is good thus far.

Make sure that you have the most updated DM. I think it is 5.0.. Hope that helps.
