I looked for a thread like this, but did not find one. Perhaps the mods can sticky this?

Everyone post the brand and size of your memory card and what problems (if any) you've had using it in your Curve. This should leave us with a nice list of "known good" memory cards for use with the Curve. I have not purchased mine yet, but I'm considering Kingston and Corsair. I'm sure Sandisk is ok, but it is a bit more expensive.

I'm using the SanDisk 1GB card now without any problems. I originally purchased a Lexar 1GB card and could not get it to work with my BB. Don't know if it was an issue with the card I had or with the Lexar card in general.

I have 2GB Kingston cards coming tomorrow, so we'll see. Those are good prices on Sandisk, folks! I could not find them that cheap. The Kingstons were $21.99 on Newegg. Sandisks were $36.99. Keep the replies coming!

Just installed my new Simple Tech 2GB MicroSD card and my BB Curve recognized it without any problems (of course, it shows that only 1.8GB is available). btw -- I didn't have to format it either; just plug n' play. $35 incl. shipping.

Speaking of MicroSD cards -- 1 question...does anyone know how to move pics from the BB Curve's internal memory to the MicroSD media card? I tried using the pop-up menu, but it seems to only give an option to move a pic in the screen order, not from the internal memory to the media card. Before I installed my MicroSD card today, I already had several pics in the phone, but since I have the media card now, I'd like to just move them over to the card. I did already set the camera to save new pics to the media card by default.

If the memory on the device is NOT full, then you should be ableto copy / move items - I just test it, and it works...

I wish there was the option to move entire folders from device to card.

My Kingston 2GB cards went in flawlessly last night.

I have the SanDisk 4 GB SDHC card in mine and it works great. I have heard Samsung has a 8 GB card and SanDisk is going to have one that size. I saw a guy on another forum said he tried the Samsung 8 GB card and it worked flawlessly in his Curve. I like the storage on the 4 GB but I am sure I could try to fill the 8 GB if given the chance.

Are 8gb microsd cards out? Only official anouncements have been made but zero product listings stating it is for sale. Latest news obtained via google state a 08 release for the 8gb microsd cards. If anyone has leads to actual 8gb microsd cards for sale, please post.

I would not pay over 90 for a 4gb card. I just bought one on amazon for 62+8 shipping last week. Took for every to ship, and just Friday, they emailed me stating the product has officially shipped after I ordered last week. Worth it though since 4gb microsd cards are rather expensive at the moment. Even brick and mortar stores are not even carrying high capacity microsd cards yet (4gb).

As for the other poster requesting the 8gb card, I read online at one of the online blogs that early 08 is when they are coming out. Disappointing I know since 8gb would be the same capacity as my nano
