Is there a list somewhere of known issues with this device?

I was told tonight from Sprint that my phone has a known issue, therefore they will not replace the phone. I would like to know if anyone else is having this problem or know for sure if it is in fact a known issue.

My phone at random times will just stop ringing or alerting me of messages as if the speaker just isn't working. But if I pull the battery and reboot then it works again.

Is there something I can do other than removing the battery every time it happens?

I believe you are probably on 4.5.0.175 and this os has an issue (with some) of ringers not working all the time. There is a fix posted in another thread if i can find it I will post it here. options, about will show you os.

As noted, it isn't a device problem, it is the OS (operating system) software.

The options are endurance or upgrade/downgrade to another OS for the 8330.

Before changing, does your Curve have an 11 digit ESN # or an 18 digit MEID #? Check Options>About to verify.
