I was wondering if there is a setting on the berry to make the keyboard and trackball light up. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. I would like for it to light up every time I use the device.

Hold your finger over the LED and it will light up. It will do it automatically but it depends the lighting.

There is a sensor in with the LED that is sensitive to the amount of light in the area you are using your Blackberry in. If you are in a brightly lit room it will not light up.


Try covering the LED with your finger; the keypad and trackball will light up.
