    On the pearl you hold down the # key. Not sure if it is the same on the curve.

    Yea vindeelou that would be correct just press and hold the # on the phone (any BB for that matter) will place it in the vibrate profile.

    There's no way to go directly to Vibrate mode from the keyboard on the Curve. You will need to go to your Profiles and change to one with Vibrate.
