I have an 8330 and was wondering if there is a daily process that I need to do to keep my temporary memory clean so things run smoothly??

You could install an app called Quickpull, free from the CrackBerry App store, that will do an electronic battery-pull for you at a scheduled time daily.

Gives you a fresh start every morning.

You can also clear your event logs by holding the Alt key, typing in 'lglg' and clearing them out.

Trash any messages you don't need to keep around.

    Save pictures to media card.

Also clear the browser cache, run memory cleaning, and on occasion clear the content store.

How would I go about doing that? Is there a way to make it so once you take a picture it gets saved there?

Outside of basic housekeeping (deleting emails and SMS, closing
apps properly and clearing the browser cache) I have no routine.
I do no resets, clearing the event log and running the memory
cleaner recovers so little as to render both pointless.

Wow!! The only emails I keep are the ones I haven't acted on. Once I have,
they are gone. I currently have only 4 on my device. Text messages are
deleted the second I am done reading them.

I'd be interested to know your email database size:
options > status > press menu and select Database Sizes

I must be lucky, I've had over 1200 emails before I deleted them.

My phone turns itself off every night and I clear my browser cache pretty often. I am no power user but I have over 100 emails and 30 or so texts most of the time. I run soft reset every 3 or 4 weeks. Its been 3 weeks since my last reset and I have just over 30000000 bytes. After a reset I have right at 40000000. I use an Otterbox so I have never pulled the battery.

Is there any difference between QuickPull and doing a manual battery pull? I do QuickPull daily. Should I be doing it manually like once a week too?
