I had the Pearl for about 6 months and liked it for the most part. I was up for renewal, and was starting to get too impatient waiting to hear any news on the Bold for Verizon, so I decided to get the Curve. I really wanted a phone with a full QWERTY and I am loving it so far.
I have been mostly a lurker on CrackBerry, until I finally signed up a couple weeks ago. Love the place!
That is kind of what I figured with the Bold. The sooner I use my NE2, The closer I will be to getting to use it when it finally comes to Verizon.
The memory was another reason I was getting tired of the Pearl. The only apps I had that were not standard on the phone were Gmail, Google Maps, and Google Sync. I stored all media on a microDS card, but the phone still kept resetting itself almost daily (was consistently below the 12,000,000 free memory magic number).
The curve is a sweet phone! When Sprint got the pearl I definitely wasn't getting a bb but when they got the curve I had to make the switch. You will enjoy it.
