My first BB was the 8330. I had it for just under a year and absolutely loved it. Especially as of late as I was confident enough to load up a killer 5.0 hybrid.. changed the trackball to black and the chrome ring to black.
Was planning on making everything on the curve black but have now moved on to the 9700!
