hey all im new here and so i just got an 8320 and was wondering something. i put all my contacts from my sim card to the address book but when i go look at the numbers they all say they are work numbers when i have mobile/home numbers in there. is there anyway to make them proper without going through each contact and changing it?

There is no other way. you have to modify each one and put the numbers in their corresponding locations.

Another reason to use Google Sync. It backs up your contacts and you can reload it onto any phone you want.

i dont mind the reloading part it just bugs me to change all the contacts numbers from the work field to either the mobile or home field in the phone.

When your curve copies all numbers from your sims card to the device it automatically puts all the numbers as "work" numbers. You would have to manually set it up so the number you want are under home, work or mobile, etc.

If you want your contacts on your sim, the only method I know of is by copying the contact onto the sim one by one.

Since you mentioned you got a Nokia 6620, I believe your phone is running Symbian. So you can use Google sync but it would not save the contacts on your sims but on your device instead.
