since you are all huge fans of JiveTalk...have you since uninstalled the embedded IM apps that came pre-installed with your bb (aim, yahoo, msn, google, icq)? im sure uninstalling all of those and just using JT as your one stop IM app must really free up free memory....let me know....

How does GTalk work. I just downloaded the program. It seems like it's like an iChat. Is it as fast/instant as AIM?

Yes, they did help to free up some memory. It doesn't make sense to leave them there taking up space if it's never going to get used.

Jayden, no i do not think so, in order to chat with AIM users you will need an AIM app, GT will only allow you to chat with other GoogleTalk users. Any one else jump in here if i am wrong...

I too uninstalled all other IM apps, as running one application as opposed to 3 or 4 of them really eased up memory and increased device performance...
