I'm not sure what I did exactly, but now, whenever I play songs and all that, it sounds like the speaker is busted. It's all crackly and it's really bad. I have to have my phone on vibrate at all times now. Is there anyway I can get a new internal speaker for my BB? Can dropping your phone cause damage to the internal speaker? Because I have dropped it a couple times.....
Edit: Yeah, I set AudioBoost, but I turned it off right after. And ever since I did that, it has sounded crackly, but it's only getting worse. But everybody on here says AudioBoost will not harm the speaker? It sounds horrible no matter what volume level it is set at.
did you accidentally turn on volume boost? or did your accidentally change the equalizer settings in the media player? Does it sound distorted even if you turn the volume all the down to where you can barely hear it? and yes, dropping you BB may cause the speaker to go bad, and yes they can be replaced.
