How can you edit IM on a Blackberry Curve 8330? I don't want Favorites or Groups. Canthey be removed?

Groups come in handy if you want to broadcast the same message to a bunch of friends at the same time. Say party at my house. Don't think that you can delete it. You may want to use it one day. Sorry I couldn't help....
