now it shows that i have facebook and myspace apps in my desktop manager, but they do not show up on my BB. They are not hidden as i have tried that. I have tried to reinstall them (OTA), but i keep getting a error.

What was the error? Generally a good idea to give the error...

Just take a min and do a search or head on over to the 3rd party app forum..

A BUNCH of people are getting 503 errors - overloading, and some are reporting 404 errors, they are doing maintance on the stuff right now.. alot of people are wanting the app.. id wait a while..

Try deleting them on both ends, through options on the phone (+ reboot) and on DM.

for the myspace OTA download I am getting a 404 error

with the facebook OTA download i am getting a 404 error as well.

the error says:
HTTP Error 404:Not Found
The page you are trying to load could not be found.
Please try loading a different page.

What folders would i look in?

IF you are not getting this on other pages, then facebook might be having a problem

Im getting the same error with the Myspace download... they are doin stuff on it... a bunch of people in 3rd party have the same issue

I don't know what folders you're talking about......i looked i don't have any folders located on my icon screen.

ok so i manually deleted facebook and myspace and then did a battery pull........facebook has reappeared.......wierd!

Clicked on all icons...nothing.

im trying a battery pull right now but im not too hopeful as i deleted my facebook via device manager because i couldnt find it on the phone. ill let you know if i get it back lol ;P
