Hello Everyone,

I recently purchased the Blackberry Curve 8330. I charged the battery until it was fully charged. Do these batteries need to be charged overnight one time or will that ruin the battery?

It will not ruin your battery....all it needs is a good 5 to 6 hour charge initially.

Charge as much as you can. The Blackberry L-ion batteries run better and last longer when frequently topped off. And overnight is fine - there is circuitry in the BB to prevent over-charging.

I recommend pluging in nightly. I'm on my curve all day long. And it drains down to about 30% by the time I go to bed. The batteries last longer if you keep them charged. I would recommend getting the charging pod to save on the USB.
