Does iMobiMac allow a Mac to have network access the same way as MobiShark does for PC's on the verizon network? Or does Verizon still require the full dataplan for iMobiMac to work?

data = internet, email etc...
voice = phone calls only

the phone has the dataplan and phone plan but not the teathering plan. Will imobimac work without the actual teathering plan added on to the service?
