So, you came crawling back and now you want a new OS, do you? lol Well, welcome to the crack club. Aren't we all - especially those of us too afraid to give it a try until the "official" release hits. patience, I say, patience (At least that is what I keep saying to myself!)
Welcome back! And don't be afraid to try the beta 4.5's...Many have already tested the waters (including myself) and there's nothing to be afraid of!
Yeah nothing to be afraid of at all, if you don't count:
The occasional app that won't work
The occasional random reboot
Keyboard and trackball freezing
Degraded memory
Occasional volume issues
Screen hourglassing
Camera not functioning properly
And any of the 500 or so things that have been posted to this
site alone. They are Beta for a reason.

Hence the reason I'll wait for the "official" release and - the reason I can't confirm the graceless part, but I can the Amazing! Thanks for the support!

The .69 Beta that I have has not even shown any of those issues you mentioned and I've been using it regularly for a month now.

That's all well and good but by now you should realize that one users
experience is NOT indicative of what every other users will be. Glad it
works for you but there a MANY that have not been so lucky. Or have
you not read any of the many "stuff went wrong posts"?
My point is that it is somewhat irresponsible to be telling people to just
"go for it" without at least mentioning that there may be pitfalls.
And even more irresponsible when the person being given that advice is
relatively new. And I have generally found the "just go for it" advice
comes from someone equally new.
Kind of like the blind leading the naked

There are a number of .69 problems we have to deal with, and it is irresponsible to not acknowledge them. Anyone who upgrades should at least have a copy of their provider's official OS saved on their computer just in case.
