Haven't actually heard of anyone using it since the end of the last decade.

I'm 15479848. I use it on BeeJive along with AIM

BTW...ICQ is an awesome (and old), very robust IM client. Been using it for probably 12 years, long before there was ever an AIM, MSN Messenger, etc.

I have an ICQ and Windows Live (IM) account but now all the people I want to talk to have BlackBerrys so I only use BlackBerry Messenger. It's the price of admission for chatting with me. LOL

By the way -- for the new-school BlackBerry addicts -- ICQ = "I Seek You". It was, as I recall, the first widely-available instant messenger client. I think it was an Israeli company eventually bought out by� AOL? Haven't Googled it - visiting my parents and service is only 1x, no EV, too painfully slow for anything but CrackBerry wap. How we suffer for the family! LOL
