I've been told that it sounds like I am underwater when people are talking to me on my curve, I can hear them just fine.

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

It stinks because even though they can understand the words that are coming out of my mouth... sometimes they are so focused on me being underwater that they are not fully paying attention.

Are you using a headset, or blocking the mic?

does this happen on very single call you are on no matter where your location is? if it does then the phone is the problem. try using some compressed air and blowing out the mic. it may not work, but you can try

Yes... Do NOT put it right in front of the mic (especially if you use that little tube they come with.) Hold it a couple inches away,
