So I just got my Curve last week, and I've been trying to figure everything out on it (minus reading the manual supplied).

I'm having trouble plugging in my bbc to my computer. For some reason the computer isn't recognizing it. What am I doing wrong?

I used to have a sidekick, and all I would have to do is plug it in and be on my merry way, is that not the same?

Any suggestions on things I should or shouldn't do w/ the bbc would be much appreciated!

    Thank you!!

Did you install the Desktop Manager software? The PC won't recognize your BB without the software being installed.

You need to install DM, only then the drivers for your BB will be installed on your computer.

What do you mean it wouldn't read it? Did you download the executable file and install?
