I recently got a used BB curve 8320. When I got it I noticed that it liked to restart itself sometimes. The screen would just go black and the LED light would go red. Just like when you do a battery pull and it takes it a few minutes to get everything back up and running...

Well, I started to mess with the phone and it seems to like to restart itself the most in the morning. And it does this 4 to 5 times a day. When I wake up in the morning I get an error message "325 app error." Well, I searched the forums and I found a solution to that problem. I had to upgrade the software on the device. I also used the JL CMNDR to wipe the device before installing the OS.

So i did the step by step instructions to make sure I did nothing wrong. The OS is great and the BB runs strong, but not even 15 minutes after install, the screen gives me error 325 AGAIN. And I installed the OS last night. I woke up this morning, and as soon as my BB alarm went off it reset itself twice.

Its a frustrating process in the morning, but once my BB has thrown its fit, it works perfectly fine during the day.

Any Ideas?

Sounds like a software problem or device problem. If you don't have any totally abnormal software on it, I'd assume it's definitely the hardware. Take it to Sprint and yell until they give you a new one...remind them of their enormous outflow of customers and decreased earnings.

Oh sorry you have T-Mobile...for some reason I looked at your picture and thought it was Nextel. Anyway, same thing...other than you may have to reformat your argument when you talk to T-Mobile...probably not useful to discuss Sprint's difficulties.

ha well thanks.. but the thing is, i don't know if they are going to accept it, i don't have the box or anything. just the phone and charger. And i didn't buy it directly from them. So they would most likely make me pay for a new BB.

You should reinstall OS again because according to RIM app 325 error is an AMX error and they recommend a reinstall of the OS. I know you've said you have already done it once. Heres a link or two that may help.

Now, you know why the seller was selling it.

Try reloading the OS and see if that corrects it.

I have opened every single one of those links in the past 24 hours. Maybe I am just not meant to have this BB curve. Since 11 this morning I have had zero problems. But as soon as morning rolls around it will most likely do it again. :/ If you hear of any other solutions though anything would be nice!
