Best case scenario - I would like to create a profile on my blackberry that allows me to turn off the ability for my BB to download work emails. In other words, I'd like to select a custom profile that I can choose on weekends where it doesn't connect and download my work emails.

If that's not possible, is there anyway I can turn off the ability for my BB to download emails from work? Thanks!!!

But you can filter them out using Filters and the "Do Not Forward to Handheld" function on your BIS.

Combine it with adding an alarm at the end of the work day to change back. When the alarm notifies you, just open it and change it to the next work day.
