I've done a few searches here, and it seems like not too many folks have used Colorware and posted about it (a few).

I really want to make my curve completely black through those guys. I think that would look very cool. Has anyone done that?

How long a wait? I wanna white out my curve and red the sides. I'm just curious how the sides come back. Are they still rubbery when they are colored?

OK, I'm in. I just eBay'ed a 2nd 8320 to tide me over while I wait on my fully blacked out 8320. It is going to be the coolest Curve ever!!

Then, I think I'll color this 2nd 8320 and put it back on eBay. I can't decide what colors for it though. I guess I should be safe and black it out too. But I played with a green and blue look which also might be nice.

I'm most worried about the finish. I think a nice flat black would be great.

Rocky, the ColorWare will be awesome, looking forward to some nice shots when you get it back.

One comment, however. If you watch eBay for a while, you'll see a ColorWare Curve pop up every once in a while. They never command the price that you KNOW somebody paid to have them done. If I were you I would either keep the second 8320 (color or not), or just unload it and try to get back what you paid for it.

I looked at the Colorware Website. From what I can see in the pics, they do a nice job on the phones, certainly a great way to freshen an older Curve that has a couple of scratches on it. Only $99 for a base color, more if you want contrastng parts. I think it would be awesome to have a Curve that had some unique color scheme... too bad they don't have color swatches that match car companies... imagine having a blue and silver Smart Car with a matching Curve for example...
