How Do You Reinstall The Os On Bb Curve 8310? I Accidently Deleted Bb Messenger And I Can Not Download Another Version To Put It Back On To My Phone. I Need To Reinstall And Start From The Begining To Get It Back.

head over to mobile.blackberry.com on your BB and you can download BBM(BlackBerry Messanger). As for the Video Camera the update is coming, when I don't know, no one does! When OS 4.5 launches that is what will give the curves Video recording!!

Most likely you will have to add BBM through DM I don't think you can do it O.T.A. You just need to have the O.S.installed on your computer and re-check BBM.

Ive tried downloading it several times from my phone and off my pc. Every time i do that it says "Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support BBMessenger.

Did you run the application loader after installing the O.S.on your computer.

I cant even download BBMessenger. I know how to load it through DM. Thats no problem. I heard that you have to reinstall your OS to get BBMessenger back once youve deleted it. If so, how do you reinstall your OS. Like reinstalling your hard drive ... just wiping everything off ... and starting over.

Just download the O.S. then install it on your computer, then run the application loader and BBM should be on there, just check the box to add it to your BB. Also make sure you remove the one you downloaded O.T.A. on your BB, Options, Advanced Options, Applications, Highlight it, then menu and delete.

ive done everything step by step ... and its still a no go. it doesnt show up on my DM. ive tried battery pulls. restarts. reinstalling my DM. zzz

Ok. Here is what I want you to do. Uninstall DM. Reinstall it. Then follow these steps. Follow them step by step! These steps are so easy a caveman could do it!

Before you wipe the device, just read the above post and make sure you do it word for word, beleive it or not the BB is great. Just take a breath and try it again.

so i reinstalled version 4.3. downloaded BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.2.2.338 (Chinese). deleted vendor.xml file. plugged in my phone and opened up dm and i dont get "You should be prompted to upgrade." no promt.

Hmmmm..... I'm stumped!! I mean if you are following my steps then you should be golden! I would do a device back-up and then wipe the hand held and see what that does!
